1. Service Description

MakeAIClips provides an AI-powered platform that generates short-form video clips from YouTube videos. The service includes a web application, dashboard, and REST API for programmatic access.

2. User Accounts

You must create an account to use MakeAIClips. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activities under your account. You must provide accurate and complete information during registration.

3. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

  • Use the service for any illegal purpose
  • Process videos you do not have rights to use
  • Attempt to reverse-engineer or circumvent rate limits
  • Share API keys or account credentials with unauthorized parties
  • Use the service to generate harmful, misleading, or abusive content
  • Overload or disrupt the service infrastructure

4. Payment Terms

Paid plans are billed monthly or annually through Stripe. All fees are non-refundable except as required by law. We reserve the right to change pricing with 30 days' notice. Free tier usage is subject to the published clip limits.

5. Intellectual Property

You retain ownership of the clips generated from your content. MakeAIClips retains all rights to the platform, technology, and service infrastructure. You grant us a limited license to process your submitted YouTube URLs solely for the purpose of generating clips.

6. Limitation of Liability

MakeAIClips is provided “as is” without warranties of any kind. We are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of the service. Our total liability shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim.

7. Termination

You may cancel your account at any time from your dashboard. We may suspend or terminate your account if you violate these terms. Upon termination, your right to use the service ceases immediately. We may delete your data 30 days after account termination.

8. Governing Law

These terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Province of Ontario, Canada, without regard to conflict of law principles. Any disputes shall be resolved in the courts of Ontario.

9. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these terms at any time. We will notify users of material changes via email or through the service. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance of the new terms.
